Fortore Energy SPA was formed at the end of 2001 on the initiative of two Local Agencies: two Mountain Communities “Fortore Beneventano" and "Monti Dauni" which together represent twentyeight villages in the center-south of Italy. “Energy for development” is our slogan. Starting from a feasibility study co-financed by the Italian Environment Ministry, Fortore Energia SPA is carrying out a virtuous process of self-sustaining development of the territory focused on power generation from all renewable energy sources: wind, biomass, solar and mini hydro. Development focuses on training and hiring local professionals and optimising endogenous financial resources and traditional production sectors (agriculture, handicrafts and tourism). Today, to put the vast programme of investment into place, some of the leading companies in the renewable energy and agribusiness sectors are part of Fortore Energia SpA. Fortore Energia SpA is making remarcable investments and the company’s driving spirit remains the same: clean energy, optimising the landscape and local development remains the focus of our activity.
